When I bought tickets to the July 1 matinee of "Wicked" for my son and niece for their First Communion gifts, I never stopped to think that we would get back from NYC on Thursday and that Friday was a holiday and the start of a 3 day weekend-- just one thoughtful gift for my niece and son and suddenly I have gifted myself with a 5 day weekend!!!! WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOO!
We will head to my sister's tonight after baseball and take off for the city in the early am- be there before lunch to catch a quick bite and then the show. I saw "Wicked" with Big in April and JUST LOVED IT. Now Little is dying to see it, too. We will spend the night right in Times Square and head home on Thursday. Friday will bring a hike up Esther and a Girls' Night Out- movie and dinner/drinks? Then Saturday we have been invited to Watch Island for an overnight-- hope that weather forecast turns itself around.....
