Somehow, the deer in the meadow at the intersection always seem to signal that a good day is approaching. I guess that's cause I like seeing the deer and I then find the other good things in the day and connect the dots from there. Hmmmm....there's a lesson in there someplace.
Tonight is night #3 of 28 of baseball every week night. Thinking about getting a spaghetti sauce going in the crockpot while we are there. Not sure if there's time for that, though. Had a quiet day with a nice lunch in Westport with Larry, Mary Ann and Jill. Thinking very seriously about working from home on Friday, where I could knock back a some serious work starting in early am and then weed my garden in the predicted 70 degree sunshine.
Started my next beach read, and not ironically looked for cheap tix to fly to Florida. I can pull off July 4th weekend, but am a bit worried about going to the beach alone with the boys, as they are fearless ocean swimmers and I am a brave lake swimmer but a fearful ocean swimmer. Still, if the weather doesn't shape up, I'm not gonna rule it out.

What's your summer read?
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit it, but I often gnash my teeth at deer. They beautiful but are on a mission to get into our yard and eat things. I wish I had a meadow for them.
