I can't wait for tomorrow (yeah, I know I just said that.)
Today is sunny and green out-- love it, love it. Hoping to get the lunch bunch to walk farther (Lord Road?) today or else leave early, as Little and I are headed to GF right after Big heads to his sleep-over party. He will spend the weekend with Papa, and so we head down tonight. Would it be too much to ask that we wander to the Farmer's Market as well? Perhaps. I have high hopes.
Last night was good. After a great run and release (unexpected), headed home, where the skies brightened, and despite baseball practice being cancelled, the Quinn boys had their own. While they were batting and fielding, I cleaned up dinner and went to get them milkshakes...Big remarked that it was "just like a movie, where the Coach takes the kids to practice, and the mom shows up with milkshakes". After that, I did more batting and lots of base running with them. Little is so skinny that his shorts kept falling down. Running is good for everyone! Maybe I will be the Lake Placid Mets Base-running Coach!
Did my nice heart-pumping hill walk today at sunrise. Thinking about doing more of the golf course next week.
Just had a nice talk with a friend who is becoming a deacon...and then possibly a priest! How cool. He will be great...he already is!
Monday- birthday celebration with Chris and girls- pedis and dinner.
Tuesday- swimming with Sheryl and the girls- hopefully cooking out!
