Well, the Father Son Ski Day turned bad when Andrew suffered a compression fracture of his T12 vertebra. He is pretty lucky and no surgery is required- we are looking at 6 weeks of a back brace, limited activity and pain management. At this point, we will still go on the cruise, as rest is rest and we might as well get out of the house.
It's gonna be a long 6 weeks for me. Maybe running myself ragged will result in weight loss??? Usually stress = weight GAIN for me, but I'm gonna try hard not to make it so.
