Here we are. Made it to 2009.

All in all, a nice day. Slept "in" till 7:30, surfed around and read nytimes.com etc on the couch. Made Little some filled pancakes (some chocolate, some strawberry) with the new filled pancake pan from Williams-Sonoma after A left for work and chit-chatted with Andrea on Facebook for about an hour. Had no idea she used to travel extensively abroad! Including Hamburg, so possibly as sign that this trip is for me!

S and the girls stopped by wherein a food fest commenced- hot chocolate with whipped cream, sliders, homemade chips- sweet and regular--, black-eyed pea salad and latkes. Followed it all up with cheesecake. And a stomach ache.

Thankful for - abundant sunshine, a free day and funny Cranium game time with Little, S, C and M-- and that tomorrow I pick up Big from Ski Camp :)

Headed now to put away Christmas ornaments and Santas.
